Good News towards the Finishing Line!

We are extremely thankful that a generous benefactor has provided us with a matching of CAD $60K with a 1-to-1.5 matching ratio to help us meet our fundraising target, meaning that for every dollar you give, an additional $1.50 will be contributed!

With the gift of this new matching fund, the fundraising deadline for Toronto “Walk with God” has been extended to November 5! Please seize this final chance to help advance our evangelization mission and make a lasting difference.

“Walk with God” Kick-off Gathering

Praise the Lord! FLL thanks all who joined us on September 28 at the Thanksgiving Mass and the Kick-off Gathering. We had close to 200 participants and volunteers who “walked with God” together. Below are some highlights of the day.

Witnessing the Power of Walking Together

Dear Friends in Christ,

As Fountain of Love and Life (FLL) celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, I have been deeply moved by how God has brought together so many brothers and sisters to support us. Through their companionship, I have truly experienced the meaning of “Walk with God.”

This year, I had the blessing of joining the Walk with God fundraising events in Toronto, Vancouver, and Hong Kong. Through these walks, I witnessed the deep love and dedication of our supporters around the world. Each one shared their talents in unique ways — some by offering their gifts and experience, others by giving financially or helping to raise funds, and many through their faithful prayers. Without such generosity and sacrifice, Fountain of Love and Life could not have grown and flourished over the past 20 years.

There were countless touching stories from this year’s Walk with God. For the first time, the Joyful Fishers community in Australia formed teams with family and friends to walk in both Sydney and Perth in support of our mission. In Toronto, an over-80-year-old participant completed the 5-kilometre walk for the 13th time despite many challenges. Some supporters walked a full marathon (42 km) each year to raise funds and witness their faith. Others, even while battling illness or recovering from injury, joined the walk in wheelchairs. Many participants were seniors over 70 years old — their perseverance and faith deeply moved us all.

Through these experiences, I witnessed the power of collaboration between clergy and laypeople. If this spirit of unity could be fully lived out in the Church, the coming of God’s Kingdom on earth would be within reach — truly one of the visions of our “Kingdom Dream.”

In conversations with clergy and supporters, I could sense their deep hope for FLL. They believe we have great potential and room to grow in our mission of evangelization. While I feel the weight of these expectations, I am also greatly encouraged. I pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide FLL, strengthening us to move forward courageously in the years ahead.

The road ahead is not without challenges. In today’s increasingly secular and individualistic world, spreading the Gospel has become more difficult amid countless distractions and temptations. Effective evangelization requires clear vision, long-term commitment, and more dedicated evangelizers who can serve creatively and professionally, carrying forward the mission entrusted to us by Jesus.

We sincerely thank all FLL supporters who joined the Walk with God events in Toronto, Vancouver, and Hong Kong. As we enter the final days of the Walk with God fundraising campaign in Toronto and Hong Kong, I warmly invite you to help us reach our goal. Without your generous support, our future evangelization projects cannot take flight.

With heartfelt gratitude — thank you for walking with us. Because of you, we have today’s fruits; with you, we will journey toward a more fruitful tomorrow.
